Interior Decorating-

Whether your space is blank to the point of needing carpet, paint, countertops, backsplash, cabinets and mirrors, or just blank of any decorations, Jennifer can assist.  Her experience and expertise includes selecting all finishes on new construction, basement finishing, and additions, as well as stepping in on completed spaces and bringing in furniture, window coverings, rugs, pillows, decor, art, and all the zhuzh!

Re-design- 

Outdated house?  Outdated room?  Outdated exterior including paint, lighting?  Jennifer can take your tired old space and pop it back to life!  An underrated aspect of renovation, aka redesign, is maximizing the dollar spent and keeping the new look within the feel and genre of the rest of the house.  Subway tile doesn't work everywhere!  With the assistance of Emerald Design, your updated home will still flow from new to old and fit the overall aesthetic of the home while pleasing you and your updated desires.  When it comes time to sell, your home will maximize your redesign dollar by being congruent throughout the house and truly adding value for the next homeowner.  Unfortunately, it is common for updates to be mismatched, inconsistent, and incompatible with each other and the original home design.  Although pretty when isolated to their space, the overall incompatibility of the specific updates can cause challenges to the enjoyment and home value.

Realtor Services- 

In an ever changing real estate market, Jennifer can make a significant impact in your business through increased client retention and referrals. 

1.0 Staging- Having staged both new construction and resale homes, Jennifer will be the liaison between you and your seller to insure your listing stands out and brings top dollar.  She takes on the hard conversation about "selling a house vs. living in a house" so you don't have to.  Leave it to her to meet with your seller and make a few quick impactful changes that will make you, your seller, and the market very happy.  Jennifer may bring-in a few soft items, decor, and/or art, but she primarily works with the seller's personal belongings and provides them with a very detailed list of items to rearrange, items to remove, and overall ideas to sharpen the spaces within the home.  With this approach she will maximize your minimal investment and will create a much more marketable house,  This process leads to a great experience for your client translating into greater loyalty and more referrals!

2.0 Buyer Design Closing Gift- When Jennifer gets her hands on a seller's home it isn't long before the seller realizes, "This is so much better.  Why didn't you come do this a long time ago.  I wish you could help me at my next house."  With a Buyer Design Closing Gift you can provide just that for your client.  The Buyer Design Closing Gift will jumpstart your buyer with their beautiful new home.  This fabulous value add should be mentioned while you're initially looking at houses to get your buyers more comfortable with the houses they're considering- especially those that may have awkward spaces or outdated features.  Bring Jennifer in as early as you like with your buyers to get them comfortable with what could be!

Paint Selection- 

Which white brings out yellow and which grey brings out blue?  Picking paint colors can be the most difficult part of a remodel or room makeover.  Before you spend a dime on paint you might regret, Call Jennifer!  Natural lighting, carpet color, cabinets and woodwork, furniture, and light fixtures all play a part in how a paint color will look in your house.  What looks good on one wall may look completely different on the wall across the room.  Have Jennifer guide you through this process  upfront!  Getting paint color right can set a great tone for the rest of the makeover.  We all know you can return a pillow or rug, but the wrong paint color is time and money wasted!
